Project Overview
THE BRIEF
Karice is a Canadian manufacturer specialising in custom lighting, architectural metalwork and bespoke fabrication. This self-initiated website concept explored how the company’s technical capabilities, craftsmanship and completed projects could be presented through a more contemporary and structured digital experience.
The project covered UX planning, information architecture and interface design across the company website, project catalogue, manufacturing facilities and contact experience.
The goal was to create a corporate website that communicates both the creative and technical sides of Karice. The experience needed to demonstrate the company’s manufacturing capabilities, showcase completed work and build confidence among potential clients considering complex custom projects.
At the same time, the website had to provide clear paths for two different audiences: visitors exploring the company for the first time and clients already interested in discussing a bespoke project.
Process
The project covered the structure and design of a multi-page corporate website, with a particular focus on presenting Karice’s capabilities, custom projects and manufacturing expertise in a clear and visually engaging way.

Ideation & Structure
The information architecture was built around two primary journeys: introducing the company and its capabilities to new visitors, and helping potential clients who were already considering a custom project move quickly toward the facilities and contact sections.
The sitemap connected company information, manufacturing processes, product collections and completed projects into a clear hierarchy, while dedicated project pages provided space for detailed storytelling and photography.

Visual Identity
Design Solution
The final design combines editorial storytelling with a clear corporate structure. Large imagery and oversized typography introduce the company’s character, while modular sections organise information about services, product collections, completed projects and manufacturing capabilities.
Projects are treated as individual case studies rather than simple gallery items, allowing custom work to be explained through imagery and supporting text. Dedicated facilities and contact pages complete the journey by showing how the work is produced and giving prospective clients a direct path to discuss a new project.
